About Wakekeeper

and the team who operate it

Wakekeeper is built by sailors and developers who care about reliability, readability, and modern connectivity at sea.

Built on Real Sailing Experience

Wakekeeper has been tested on Mediterranean waters by a liveaboard sailor, developed with early support from sailing schools in Asia, and shaped by what people actually want to see while underway, drawing from the industry's best tools like Navionics.

Why Wakekeeper Exists

Wakekeeper was built from years of trying many marine apps that were never really right for real-world use. It started as a custom display for a speedboat dashboard, then quickly proved it could do far more. We saw persistent gaps in the ecosystem, especially in Navionics where development slowed and issues started to creep in after Garmin acquired it, so the long-term outlook looked bleak for the kind of product we needed.
